Dance Classes and Price List

Babies- 2 year olds

-Twirling Tots Class 

This parent/ child class is a fun introduction to dance. 18 months- 2 year olds will participate in creative movement and an introduction to ballet with the support from mommy, daddy, or a caring adult. Students will learn how to work with others while learning the basics of rhythm and self- expression! Perfect class for those rising ballerinas! 

 $40 per month/ 30 minutes per week

 

-Music and Movement (Babies) and (Toddlers)

Our Mommy and Me class is the perfect opportunity for you and your little one to bond through the exploration of new sounds, sensations and environments! We will enjoy using developmentally appropriate instruments, songs, and movements to encourage the use of these sensory-rich elements during the early development stages of your child. All while embracing the wonderful, social interaction and play with other babies! We would love to have you join us for this class! 

Babies- 0- 18 months

Toddlers- 18 months- 2 years

 $40 per month/ 30 minutes per week

 

3 and 4 year olds

-Pre-Ballet Combination Class 

This class is offered for 3 and 4 year old dancers. Students will explore the foundations of ballet and tap while learning musicality and rhythm through creative movement. They will explore the basics of dance while learning great listening skills, building self-esteem, and gaining self- confidence.

 $55 per month/ 45 minutes per week

 

-Music and Movement (Preschoolers)

Another option for our 3 and 4 year olds is our Music and Movement class. Movers in this 45 minute class will be independent as this age is not a parent/child class. Students will explore a variety of musical instruments, explore rhythms and musicality, all while exploring movements from our bodies. Students will engage in thematic learning while building their musical knowledge and learning to love to the beats of the music they hear and create.

$50 per month/ 45 minutes per week

 

*All 3 and 4 year old classes will get to participate in our end of the year production! Students CAN enroll in both Pre-Ballet and Music and Movement. 

 

5- 7 year olds

-Ballet Combo 1 

Students ages 5- 7, or older students who are new to dance will begin/ continue to learn the very important techniques in ballet and tap. Students in this class will also begin to explore the basics of  jazz. Students will continually improve upon their rhythm, memorization, and performance readiness through barre exercises, across the floor practice, center routines, and combinations. 

$60 per month/ 1 hour per week

 

-Ballet Combo 1 with Hippity Hop

Students will engage in all listed in the above description of Ballet Combo 1 as well as “Hippity Hop”, an energetic class that focuses on popular and trending dance styles. Students will learn how to express themselves, have fun, and learn the basics of hip hop. 

$85 per month/ 1.5 hours per week

 

7 years and up

 

-Lyrical/Contemporary 

Students will learn to express their emotions through dance. Students will tell stories through the art of dance while learning this fluid/ free-flowing dance genre.  Heavily focus on body alignment, seamless movement, contracting the body, and expression through movement.

Lyrical Dance 1/ $50 per month/ 45 minutes per week

Lyrical Dance 2/ $50 per month/ 45 minutes per week

Lyrical Dance 3/ Instructor Placed/ $50 per month/ 45 minutes per week 

Lyrical Dance 4/ Instructor Placed / $60 per month/ 1 hour per week 

 

-Acrobatic Dance

Acrobatic dance or acro  is a style of dance that combines dance technique with precise acrobatic elements. This dance technique includes balance, tumbling, and partnering.  Flexibility, strength, and contortion will be learned and exercised.  Providing you with proper acrobatic technique, students will learn how to enhance their flexibility, strength, and agility.

Acrobatic Dance/ $50 per month/ 45 minutes per week

 

8 years and up

 

-Technique & Ballet Combination 2

Experienced students ages 8 and older will continue to develop a better understanding of ballet terminology and how to execute those terms. Each class students will engage in barre, center floor work, and across the floor combinations for ballet, tap, and jazz.  Students will focus largely upon strengthening the legs and feet, and maintaining control of the upper body to properly execute choreography. 30 minutes of the class is devoted solely to technique. 

 $85 per month/ 2 hours per week 

 

-Stretch and Strength 

This class is designed for students wanting to improve upon and focus on flexibility, endurance, and body strengthening for dance. This is an add-on class and cannot be taken by itself. Students must be enrolled in at least 1 other class to take strength and stretch. 

$25 per month/ 30 minutes per week 

 

-Hip Hop (Street Style)

This energetic class focuses on popular dance styles of today. Students will be encouraged and challenged to step out of the box and bring their own individual style to their movements. If your child enjoys fast movement and high energy dancing, this is the class for them. 

$50 per month/ 45 minutes per week

 

-Hip Hop (Show Style)

This energetic class focuses on a different hip hop style. Students will learn a more structured  side 

of hip hop as this style infused both ballet and jazz into it. Show style is most often performed by college level dance teams. 

$50 per month/ 45 minutes per week

 

11 years and up

 

-Technique & Ballet Combination 3

Experienced students 6th grade and older will begin to develop a better understanding of ballet terminology and how to execute those terms. Each class students will engage in barre, center floor work, and across the floor combinations for ballet, tap, and jazz. Students will also incorporate pre-pointe into their training. Students will use resistance band exercises, barre exercises, and center work to strengthen their feet. Students must be recommended by an instructor to study pre-pointe.  

$90 per month/ 2.5 hours per week



-Technique & Ballet Combination 4

Experienced students 6th grade and older will continue to develop a deep understanding of ballet terminology, focusing specifically on proper execution of these terms on pointe . Each class students will engage in barre, center floor work, and across the floor combinations for ballet, pointe, tap, and jazz. Students will use resistance band exercises, barre exercises, and center work to continue to strengthen their feet. Students must be recommended by an instructor to study pointe. 

$90 per month/ 2.5 hours per week

 

-Character Production

Must be enrolled in Intermediate or Advanced Ballet Combo/Technique to participate. Character roles from the recital will be chosen from this class. Enrolling in this class does not guarantee a main character role, but greatly helps in dancer's preparation and readiness to take on main character roles. Students will work on theatrical performance that combines songs, acting while dancing, and showmanship. Students in this class will become comfortable with freestyle dance in order to continually help prepare them for their future in dance.

$30 per month/ 30 minutes per week

 

-Pre-Pointe Class (Instructor placed)

Pre-pointe is designed to prepare dancers  to be successful en pointe. This class focuses highly on strengthening technique and knowledge of pointe work. Students will incorporate ballet technique training during pre-pointe. This class can be taken on flat ballet shoes. During class students will participate in resistance band exercises, barre exercises, across the floor combination and center floor work. Please reach out if your child is interested in pre-pointe. 

$25 per month/ 30 minutes per week

 

-Pointe Class  (Instructor placed)

Studying pointe requires great dedication and commitment to dance. Students will incorporate ballet technique training during pointe work. This class is designed to strengthen feet and ankles. During class students will participate in barre exercises, across the floor combination and center floor work en pointe. Students must be recommended by an instructor to study pointe. 

$25 per month/ 30 minutes per week
